Sambuca – 0.5g Cart
Description
Our Sambuca cannabis oil was inspired by the Italian anise-flavored liqueur of the same name. First commercially produced by Luigi Manzi in 1851, it was not until 1945 that it became a staple of Italian culture, the same year Angelo Molinari’s “Sambuca Extra Molinari” was designated by the Italian government as the ultimate and superior Sambuca.
The Molinari recipe is a family secret, and only one person per generation knows it. This practice almost led to the extinction of the recipe in 1982 when the recipe-keeper was kidnapped. Though he was finally returned, the family decided to store the recipe in a vault to further ensure its longevity.
The flavor of this extract is intensely sambuca — owing to the fragrant anise herb terpenes.
